What is remarkable about him is that he always travels and loves to meet his customers in person. That way, he can understand their needs and provide solutions for them. At his age, most people would have already retired, yet Mr. Song Yen Ting still travels around the world with his signature hat boxes and luggage. The octogenarian owner of Sunyorkos has been in the hat industry for the past 50 years. His father, Long Zheng Ting started the company in Lukang, by supplying Japanese hatmakers with wood fiber materials in the 1940s. Mr. Song Yen Ting and his sons continued expanding the business. Currently, they have production centers in Taiwan, China and the Philippines, and have set up warehousing and sales offices in the USA. Zoria continues to develop its product lines and has become one of the major millinery and hat suppliers in the world.
